Durham Community Legal Clinic
Our Vision:
- To promote access to justice throughout Durham Region for low income individuals by providing high quality legal services.
- To encourage and facilitate flexibility and innovation in the provision of legal services.
- To recognize the diverse legal needs of low income individuals and disadvantaged communities.
- To operate within a framework of accountability for the expenditure of public funds.

8:30 am - 4:30 pm
The Clinic was established in 1985 when the Durham Tenants Hotline applied for funding as a full-service legal clinic. The clinic opened in February 1985 under its current name The Durham Community Legal Clinic. In December 2001, the clinic co-located with Legal Aid which provides low income residents of Durham Region quality legal services in a convenient central location.
The Durham Community Legal Clinic has amended our By-Law to be in accordance with the Not-For-Profit Corporations Act. If you wish to review or make comments with respect to these changes, please contact our office.
